THE EZER GROUP HOLIDAY PRAYER VIDEO
Do you or a friend need a break from a hectic to-do list? The Ezer Group has created a prayer video to help center our souls. Download our free holiday prayer guide and give it to friend. To those of us feeling overburdened and frazzled, during this busy season, a prayer of Catherine Siena reminds us to lean into the Holy Spirit for strength. To those of us suffering, she points to the One who lifts us with never failing love. To those in need, she encourages us to look to our Divine Parent. Author Lisa Deam (Ph.D.) reads Catherine’s prayer. Artist Ann Chapin offers her magnificent painting, Madonna and Child Panel, to stir our imaginations. Merry Christmas 2017!
Lisa Deam writes about spiritual formation through the lens of history. She is the author of A World Transformed: Exploring the Spirituality of Medieval Maps and the host of www.thecontemplativewriter.com, a website providing soul care to writers, where she often explores the prayers and other writings of women mystics. You can also find Lisa at lisadeam.com, on Twitter @LisaKDeam, and on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/LisaDeamWriter.
Ann Chapin studied with Vern Wilson from the Pasadena Art Center in the late 1980s and early 1990s, where she focused on figure painting and color theory. After that, she started working traditional iconographic pieces, studying with the teachers in the Prosopon school in NY. Currently she is working on how to portray the divine in more modern styles that will be more evocative to the Western eye.
